Where it all begins… Exclusively harvested, distilled on the lees, and aged at the estate, Frapin 1270 is the entry-level Frapin cognac. Its name honors the arrival of the Frapin family in the Segonzac area in 1270.

Aromatic richness

As a worthy heir to the house's know-how, it possesses great aromatic richness, allowing it to be used as a digestif or as an aperitif, particularly for mixology. It offers moments of conviviality for those who enjoy improvising aperitifs. Paired with tonic, a splash of sparkling water, or simply by adding ice cubes, it will be the ideal partner for original aperitifs and the most sophisticated cocktails.

Color and bouquet

The warm golden reflections give Frapin 1270 a beautiful straw yellow color, which reflects its aging in new Limousin oak barrels. On the nose, its aromas of vine flowers and linden with a melted vanilla touch, due to aging in Limousin barrels, demonstrate a great aromatic richness, characteristic of a fine cognac.

Frapin 1270 offers a beautiful roundness, richness, and balance. Its length on the palate is due to a special distillation on fine lees, with slightly vanilla or toasted bread aromas. It will bring a note of freshness and originality.

Ingredients

  • Cognac Frapin 1270 / 5 cl
  • 1 tablespoon of apricot jam
  • Lemon juice / 2 cl
  • Angostura Bitters / 2 dashes
  • 1 pinch or grating of cinnamon
